i heard this man playing a toy piano in the san francisco subway system, in june, 2001, and i was moved by his beautiful music. i took him directly to my studio at 19th and capp, where i had a very nice full size upright piano and recorded these three songs. i ran into him two or three times after, and then he moved away, to new york, i think. i never heard from him again. every time i hear these songs, they make me feel good........
